The biology department received two funding grants to support two of its projects the first project is being proposed by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Ayesh in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nasr Ad-Din Jum'ah and dr. Amr Abdul-Hakeem. The Project is on Determination of Biogenic amines Contamination in Fish and Fish Products at Rest Houses of Thowal Shores according to the HACCP Concept.

The other project is proposed by dr. Emad al-Shareef in collaboration of Prof. Dr. Sayyed Al-Rawi Exploring the Wealth of Wild Plants of Economic Importance tolerant of Difficult Conditions of Khulais.
